even though i will get unlimited access the 'second' i can, it would be ALOT easier if basic access had a class of ships to call thier own, so they no were they stand...!
Well im sure this is thier "official" stance on the matter.

I know for a fact there are UK players in potco, playing unlimited.

Update: Heres a thread we talked about this before on: http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...ead.php?t=8325

Oh, another idea that was mentioned... VISA/MASTERCARD gift cards. They should work wherever VISA/Mastercard is accepted (including potco).

My initial reply was based on the assumption that you were within the US. My apologies for making that assumption. I hope you find a way around it.

What Rackat said Roger. I also assumed you were in the U.S. Hope you can get a game card soon.

And Andrew, thats just a business strategy, they want to limit what basic access players can get, to make them want to have unlimited access. I know thats what got me to pay up.

I am sorry about your predicament, hope you can get it worked out.
Zep's ideas maybe will help out.

I agree though with many of the first posts and feel the frustration many others have as well.

With 40 level characters sitting around for months on end, many have seen plenty enough of making adjustments to even out game play with different levels/type of accounts.

We have seen nothing though go forward for those characters still sitting around.

With these developements, I don't think it can be said Disney dislikes free accounts. They perhaps didn't get something directly, just everyone else got it taken away.

Maybe I wander from the subject now but I live in Germany and also tried a few times to get unlimited access and everytime it failed . So I asked disney potco via e-mail why they cant debit from my paypal account and then they answered that unlimited access is not available for the german market yet.
So why I cant get unlimited with a german billing adress? I dont understand that... and I would love to buy the big War Frigate or could do some nice quests and stuff.

Unlimited Access should be available for everybody :}

Not being knowledgeable about the EU set up, I would think that once the POTCO UK servers open up, that most of the EU member nations should be able to join and play with our UK friends. At least I would hope so.

I would also hope that there is interaction between the US and UK versions.

I know I have seen hangups like this before but usually its some of the things straighten out immediately. After all, most companies want to get the money. There are different taxes etc to these different areas, so perhaps the hang ups.

I hope those that are in this boat, keep on them to let you get unlimited accounts. I hope Disney, will start accepting money, and maybe use it to build something forward in the game.

Yes, I hope all players outside of the U.S. are soon able to get fully supported unlimited accounts! Good luck, and keep emailing Disney asking for unlimited access.

Also, there are legal issues; given it's a game aimed solidly at teenagers, they have to keep an eye on local regulations for that sort of thing (COPPA in the US, for example).
