Thats cool, they likely are not going to be willing to make any exacting statements until they finalize decisions, and get code near test stage.

The chinese island has a great deal with getting the chinese pirate lord into the story.
Wasn't elizabeth swan captured from a chinese sloop? I think we'd like to see singapore as a part of the second story quest though anyways.

No doubt, just was pointing out that from a timeline perspective they havent implemented elements of the 2nd movie that are understood to be coming (who knows). Elements from the 3rd may take awhile.
As much as I would like them to add Singapore just from reading these forums ive learned... Add the island... people wont be satisfied, now they want chinese enemies, ships, clothes, jewelry, etc. Adding an island suddenly became a hassle. hehe. All of which would definately be cool.

If they added in all that then they'd end up wadting a year just for that. And another just to get quests in. But i'm sure if they add in the island(making it good and not bad) adnd then the new story quest they can add in the other things later.
Of course a new island and story quest is big.

We need to remember tehy already have the kraken model finished in the phase files, another sea serpent for regular sailing, and davy jones.
I would like to see singapor as part of the quest but your right.
If they released it they would be in a rush and it would stink.
And they're already working on a new part for cuba. (don't ask me why or you wont believe me)

i think it would be cool if they also added the distance from the caribbean to singapore, which is halfway around the world from the caribbean. It could be like a big journey where you have to cross the atlantic. It could be a huge expanse of ocean filled with high lv enemies, hurricanes, whirlpools, stuff like that. Then when you get there, you have something like a second playing spot, with more prominent eitc then navy. There you could also get the tp quest so if you want, you can just skip the adventure (though i must admit if they made something like the atlantic i would spen so much time in it!) next time yo want to come.

I think they could work around that to make it to where we could teleport to singapore.
That would be simple.
Like sail to it for a while just for teleportation then use that for the story quests.

ok, silly question.. isn't the Caribbean a lot bigger than what they show us on their maps anyway? and since the Caribbean is a real place, Tortuga is real, port royal is on Jamaica, why would they NOT add more of the REAL Caribbean islands??

if they don't soon add something more interesting, they are going to lose their money.. ie, us.

i have a L36 and a L34 BORED pirate. they have both completed their quests and other than side quests and leveling up all the skills besides doll and cannon, so they don't get brought out much. i'm working on my L24 pirate since she is only 3% of the pearl quest, and is getting mighty bored leveling weapons [come on L25, so i can start the pearl quest already].

Rmeember the game is new and has only been out....less than a year and it's pretty good for a year.
It's less on the map so it's easier to get to places faster.
But singapore would be something that I would liek to see enter the game.
Like get all the pirate lords to come so you ask the chinese pirate lord.
And of curse cuba needs to bigger.
I can expect cuba to be bigger come the next big update.

I really would like a area in the sea with big hurricanes and whirlpools, integrate some form of weather in the game, and what i really want is some RAIN!!!!!
