Chinese islands
 

POTCO said they wouldn't add many more islands from the movies but why not?
First of all the more islands means we will be way busy and POTCO will keep members.
So why not add the chinese islands and new chinese clothing?
I'd liek to see that. At least two islands? One being big one small. Even having the place where they meat the chinese pirate lord. And lets not forget heir ships. Thoughs sloops would look great!
I would like to be at the spot where they threw up the swords/pistols to them from under the ground.
Where the spy is.
I mean that would be great.
Have the navy fighting the chinese and grenades and everything! I could go all out with this!
How about when you reach the end of the world you fall of it and it shows any one in the ship falling off. And when you get to davy jones locker you have to get into your ship and wait for the crabs to grab you.
When you get off the island you go back to where you first docked.

But seriously. Why would POTCO not add in thoughs islands? They said they probably wouldn't but why? We need more islands to explore! And lets not forget that awsome pirate cove with all the ships being buildings!

I'm not a liar when I say I can imagine all of this in the game and 3D. I mean please POTCO add them in! We need more islands to explore!

When did they say no more islands and if they really did say this then no point in playing the game we need more places to explore and level and have fun.

Yes, we plan on adding some more elements from the movies. Not necessarily islands, but ships, clothing, characters, enemies, etc

See the islands part? But we can expect there to be maybe chinese ships. If tehy add the chinese sloops then it has to be confirmed. Also I would like to see galleon skeleton ships.

Also pirates tops runescape except for area. POTCO needs more area or the game will feel small. We need it to be bigger and the ocean/sea doesn't count. I would like to see at least 3 major islands come into the game and 2 non-major islands. Also there's a rumor going around(not here) that someone was on a dev server and that we can expect cuba to get bigger. I think it will get bigger myself so please don't call me a liar. Wait for a year then say i'm a liar. People who go around calling other people a liar then it comes out makes fools of themselves.(i've seen that happen many times)

Oh ok :( i hope for more islands like singapore and shipwreck cove.

They are pretty tight lipped about saying alot of things. I would suspect adding another island or so may be in the cards if the game continues to be successful.

When was that Q&A answered because lets not forget about porc and avaricia theres still hope.

Thoughs aren't movie related islands but the leaders are.
It was answered in march I think.

"Not necessarily" does not mean no. In that context he means that there's a chance you'll get something other than just islands.

I hope we do get more islands and the chinese sloops.
That's a whole year we'll be on the game if they add that in.

I hope they do add them in or the whole third movie will have to not enter the game.

What is needed is not so much more islands per se, but quests. They need a new story line to follow once you have completed the Boss Battle. Of course seeing how long it took to get THAT right, a new story could take a while.

In any case it would be nice if they leaked some definitive information, preferably with a rough time table.

And remember that story took was it two years from beta?
I played in beta two and had fun but why it took a year or two to finish the first story quest is beyond me.

Also yeah beta lasted two years I think. They said they started back in 2006. Wait no if it was in 06....a year or so.


I do not want to wait that long. Besides they can't finish davy jones without adding in chinese islands, sloops, and of course his ship!(which I bet there will be more than one to give us more action)
Anyways they can't add on the next story without the chinese island unless they think it will be smart to skip the first 30 minutes of the movie.

When I e-mailed POTCO about adding Singapore,they hinted that they are now considering the possibility on adding Singapore.

Uh... why not? Davy Jones was in the 2nd movie, which had no chinese island. They still havent implemented any elements of the 2nd movie other than davy jones crew on tormenta island, and I hardly think that counts. They could even add a Isla Cruces (Cutthroat?) as in 2nd movie, but then again... theres no Isla De Muerta either (Tormenta????)

Thats cool, they likely are not going to be willing to make any exacting statements until they finalize decisions, and get code near test stage.
