Duchamps rum on rumrunners?

I think its periodically random on some quests as well. As some have mentioned its been in different spots for them. Working on my 2nd pirate some of the locations were different for me also. Some quests are location specific, you just may need to dig a few times though.

lol.. I always have trouble with quests that involve dig spots I guess I dont have the patience to look around haha (I always come to the forums when there's doubt...)

I had to dig 4 times in the same place, but I got it. So some of you guys just have to keep trying

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANY YOU ...... I gave up this quest due to frustration when I was @ Level 27 [now that I am @ Level 30 and almost completed with the Voodoo Staff Quest I will return to locate Duchamps Rum on Rum Runners Island in the Part Two Quest for the Black Pearl] ! :-)

I've about lost my mind with this quest. I will try again tomorrow, focusing around the trap door. I swear I've dug everywhere more than once. I keep helping all my lower level friends because I can't stand the search anymore.

i noticed that while trying to do this quest (still have yet to find the chest) that though the clue says to find it on Rumrunner's Isle, on the Map, it shows the star on Isla Perdida to find the chest? Anyone else notice this?

I did get the chest, digging 3 times at the dig spot near the trapdoor. I just dug three times in a row, stopping to kill a dire wasp in between each dig. Third time did the trick.

You know I tried following the screen shot and could not find any spot to dig. I've ran around RR until I'm dizzy. It's driving me nuts!

I went where Frizz told me to, but it took me three digs to get the barrel of rum. I suggest people keep trying!
