Phantom flagship?

Not convinced here.

Seems awfully indistinct for a flag. It may be that whatever-it-is that generates the lightning bolts and storm clouds over the phantom ships, but with some of the video eye candy turned down or off.

Well it can't be that - hes driving with no crew - and Lighing doesn't last that long (by the time you shoot lighing on a Galleon and take the wheel - the Bolt Smoke would be LONG gone)... sure - it could be something with Resolution, Video, whatnot - but - it COULD be and thats what the hunt is really about

I see you found it over by Rums... Since my days have been hanging at Perdida a lot maybe I'll get lucky

That and the fact that I don't have the Lightning yet....argggg The "flag" was over the Phantom the entire time it was on the screen...I could see it from a good distance away and had to chase it down because, well, it looked like a flagship.

I do have to play with the res low and graphics all the way down unfortunately, but I've been playing quiet awhile and never saw anything like it. Guess I should've got a closer picture of it....next time...oh yeah

I can see the possibility that it was just a malformation of the "Phantom" word graphic that would normally be above the level; however, with today's news about "Ghost Ships," it does seem, somewhat eerily, they can escape from the test server on their own. I'll still be keeping a hopeful lookout for my own sightings.
