I see, so the rep that people leave is coralated in some way to the rep they have, themselves. Is there a specific number that must be obtained before the rep I or anyone leaves for someone is marked as good? Also, is this a graduating scale, where the higher the rep of the person adding rep to a post, the more the post receives? Thanks again.

Yes, you need to have so many rep points to increase your rep power. The rep power is the amount of rep you give someone when you rep their post. If you look on the front page, it should display your rep power there. I don't recall how many rep points or power you need before you can effect other people's rep. Sorry. Mine is stuck at 200 points to users being an admin.

Each user's rep power is handled seperately, so multiple reps to the same post really doesn't have any effect other than they've repped you. Though someone with balanced rep finally obtains enough rep to effect people's rep, I believe it changes all their balanced rep they gave to their new rep power.

Since no one knows who gave out rep but the mods, it does pose some problems with trying to help some users get past their balanced rep and into the positive rep power where they can actually effect other people's rep. If that makes any sense to you...sorry, it's early for me..lol
