I'm just blown away by the new lighting effects. It's weird to say that it makes the game beautiful, but it actually does.

Well 1.8 is out! So far my single player world is going pretty good, got about 62 steak legit so I'm good on food for a while xD

My first 1.8 release world (Not pre-release) took me a while to find an NPC Village and when travelling, I found some good resources to get me started without the use of TMI. I did hear that the Endermen in the release has pink eyes
 Guess Mojang released a girl Enderman

So do cows still drop leather? I killed one and it just dropped raw beef....
Also, the new lighting is really helpful, I went deep into caverns and didn't even need torches. 1.8 is awesome so far, now I just need to find an NPC Village! |

If you guys recall the Beta 1.3 tower picture I posted, here it was with a town around it:
 Unfortunately, my backup was long before the town was made and the original map, I accidentally blew it all up to smithereens  So, I have to rebuild the town.

Back during the pre-release there was a bug where if you put something in a crafting table, then dropped it, you would get an infinite stack. So I have about five hundred diamond pickaxes
 Probably won't need diamonds for a while

Well, the Pre-release for Minecraft Beta 1.9 is now out, but from what I see on the Minecraft Forums for bugs, there are tons so I am keeping my version at 1.8.1 until these bugs are sorted out. Do not download it as when trying to download it when entering Minecraft may stop and crash, creating new world is broken, and possibility of past worlds may crash when moving a few feet.

1.8 is bugged for me,after I play for a while the game goes into hysteria and screen goes white.

Ok Notch really messed up with these exp orb things. So I died on a server with full exp orbs and even more and when i respawned I was getting about 1 FPS a minute because of the crazy amount of orbs in that one area. He needs to do something fast!

That XP Orb Lag does have to be fixed where three orbs will drop from player marking up a third of the player's experience in one orb. Anyway, I have been busy at making a PVP Arena. Here is a WIP screen of it's grandstands:
