Here's some early work on the upcoming PvP Infamy system for both Land PvP and Privateering. We're still working out some kinks (like badge coloring) and bug fixes (fixing PvP exploits) but we're really looking forward to getting PvP back into the shape it rightly deserves to be in. According to the video you get them for killing regular enemies as well, so I don't think you have to do SVS or PVP.

I watched the video and saw nothing about killing regular enemies...Ship Privateering Infamy would be SVS and Land Combat Infamy is PVP...it would be nice if they did include any NPC enemies defeated...

So, basically... kick PvP or SvS butt - become infamous then brag about it on your name plate.

LIKE THIS won't get abused.

I fear there will be boosting. As in I get a friend to make a low level pirate, we PvP a 1,000 times, or till I get Max Infamy.
Then he delet Pirate, I do same for him. Thats the only downside to this.
