navy and invasions
I don't under stand why POTCO isn't allowing us to assassinate who ever is leading the navy in the Caribbean and take over. we are the most powerful force in the Caribbean, we should have ruled the carribean a long time ago.

then the game would be over if not we would we do it would be fun for five minuets then the game ends forever no enemies and servers now useless i'm not talking tortos abassa i'm talking about hardware expensive hardware. all in all a bad thing for all involved. also the eitc and the navy belong to britain the eitc wouldn't take over technically they should be on the other side of the world thank you hollywood and really all the navy knows until we attack them is were citizens with weapons (or ships) that want to defend the island. really it is there job to defend the islands but we have that covered so they don't have to do it.

Actually Countainer, the East India Company was not all the way in Britain all the time. America's Boston Tea Party shows that. The Patriots dumped all the tea from an East India Company ship. Sorry if that goes off topic a bit, just wanted to point that out.

Tortuga is a pirate island unlike Port Royal. Not controlled by anyone. Wouldn't it make sense if the Company or Navy wanted to drive the pirates out of their main stronghold?

While that does make sense, Tyler, I remember something from the Greer quest that Blakely said.
"While, officially, the Navy ignores the skeleton problem, unofficially, I have been ordered to get rid of it." Something along those lines, at least. It was when the player has to go and defeat General Blood-somethingorother. Point is, the official stance on the skeletons is that they don't exist. Period. So when there's a Port Royal invasion, they officially go, "All is well, the sky is just acting up again!" While unofficially, they go "Shoot. Can't do nothin' bout it though." And besides, if they fought, where would that leave us? Arrested for being pirates out in the open. |

Also, the Navy are lazy. Its shown countless times in the game. Not only are they there to protect rather than attack, they are just too lazy to do anything. I'm sorry mate, but I really don't think there should be EITC or Navy invasions. |

If you take in a historic and realistic view, the British Royal Navy was supposed to be the strongest force in the seas of the time.
POTCO should really dump the mindset that they're lazy. It is a MILITARY for crying out loud! Let them protect the island from the undead! Didn't they do that against the Black Pearl? And the whole "bandits" is idea is stupid and unrealistic. Bandits here = Robbers of the sea = Pirates! The Navy may be the corrupt, but their smart enough to tackle their own problems. And if they're allied with us in CD, why not Invasions? On the account of Navy/EITC Invasions... Maybe not a full-scale war... Something like small raids "on hideouts of people outlawed under the jurisdiction of his Royal Majesty" or something would suffice. Quote:
