why doesn't the navy help with invasions
 

isn't it the navies job to defend the islands under there control and defend the sea from pirates (jolly qualifies). so why don't they help with invasions defend the sea and do there jobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. The Navy are too scared.
2. The Navy don't have good weapons.
3. Only Port Royal is defended, and even if they were to help they would be about zero help because of how weak they are.
4. Honestly, the Navy want pirates to be dead from Jolly Roger's Invasions, as they actually stay out of the forts.

Do not forget, the Royal Navy is corrupt. I think...

The usually sit back and watch us die.

Would the navy honestly want to team up with us pirates?

Unfortunately thats so so true Dog, they are just too weak, maybe a new update could come with Navy people that are actually challenging.

They should have EITC/Navy Invasions. Bunch of Officers & Assassins with multiple bosses like Remington, Neban etc.

The Navy is on the islands to defend the places, not to conquer them. Simple as that. There should be no Navy invasions, it wouldn't make sense.

The EITC aren't the type to do an all out open invasion. They would do slow takeovers involving assassinating certain individuals.

Let's think purely in the scheme of the Caribbean. Think of it as real, with the motives and the moves of each group in the Caribbean. It's like chess. Each player has their own style of moving.

Here, we have Jolly Roger; He has strength through his army that is forever growing. He is not afraid to use it. Roger relies on brute force to get his job done, so that his army continues to grow and grow and grow. All he wants is to rule.

The Navy is there because they are ordered to be there. They protect the King's investments in his Empire. They don't have to do anything else; technically, they already rule. All that's in their job description is to strike down anyone who disturbs the peace and threatens that rule.

The EITC are rather like the Navy, but with a more sinister edge. They work for money. They will work undercover to get what they want, not through brute force. If they were to work through force, and force alone, they lose their money and their power. There's no more influence for them to work.

Now, back to the original question: Why doesn't the Navy fight with us? Because they don't care. Pirates are getting killed off? Brilliant for them, there's a lot less work for them now. As long as they have their legal power over the islands, they don't care, go about your merry way. All they need to do is keep the King happy.

So wat about cannon defense? the navy are wanting us to help them ward off the bandit ships We OF of all ppl FOR JUST SAKE lol so we should get something in return that wat i think.....

We get gold and cannon rams in return. And if you remember, the reason we ward off the bandit ships is because they Navy is too stupid, scared, and/or lazy to do it themselves. And of course, a pirate will do anything for gold, aye?

Think as it as this, the navy hates BOTH of us. Jolly and us pirates. The Navy would help if it were the movie, because Elizabeth Swann is with the pirates and they have to make sure that she is un-touched. Elizabeth is inside the Governors Mansion, which is the target for the Port Royal invasions. So that is a hard question.... who would the navy want to die more? The pirates and Elizabeth, or Jolly Roger whom wants to destroy Elizabeth.... I dont understand the game- not like the movies at all..
