They gave these two comparisons:
*In real life, Edward Teach had 14 wives
*In the Pirates series Edward Teach has 14 wives and one daughter.

Precisely my point. They are taking a Real Pirate and just nonchalantly changing his history. They are just rewriting someone history. That is what I meant about fictitious characters and how great job POTC did by not including any real pirates. He was married once. Before going back to piracy. I have done research about the life of Blackbeard. Imagine if they included George Washington's Evil Twin Emil Washington.

Anyway, I'll just consult a few people on it, but I'm pretty sure that the reference would be to either "The Secret Files of the East India Trading Company" OR "Pirates of the Caribbean:The Complete Visual Guide". But what makes YOU so certain that Blackbeard came in the third film? The story about OST is that Ed and his daughter has been hiding in the Inlet for many years (or a few) and now want to come out to find the Fountain of Youth, as I have read in some sites.

You are obviously talking about fiction I am definitely not. I am talking about facts.
And his flag is in the 3rd film. Don't believe me? Then just go watch it. They used real pirate flags.
