This happened yesterday and I sunk at least 3-4 times (I was in a War Galleon) before I destroyed the ship of the line. I got about 7 chests when I sunk it. It's basically like an invasion, but on the sea!

EITC fleets didn't give me squat when I went online, lol. The SOTL gave me a loot pouch (-,...,-) and that really made me mad.... I'm only doing navy from now on, I wonder if they'll be skeleton ships because both the navy and the EITC and the skels got the share, ncluding skeleton fleets later in game...

Well, the pictures I posted on the first page show the EITC and Navy flags, and four possible skeleton(called bandit) flags.

Skeletons make sense. I mean Jolly's gotta' be hauling his invasion forces somehow... and also hauling his portion of the weapons cache.

Might be interesting to combine a Skeleton Fleet - followed by an invasion of the island it was heading for.

They could make a mixture of the Fleets and Invasions.
The Skeleton/EITC/Navy Fleets can be headed to the island, and if they succeed, we have to fight of an Invasion with melee, hand firearms, and Land cannons to ward them off.
It will be an epic mixture. But there won't be an Invasion if said Fleet does not reach
As for the ''bandit'' logos, maybe the Scorpion claw one will come on a ship populated by Dread ScoRpions. Imagine Scorpions captaining Shi-ps of the Line LOL

I remember in the Release Notes on test a while back saying something about the EITC and Navy fleets sailing, yet havent seen the navy at all, not even on test.

Here are the Test Release Notes from Feb 17, 2010:

• Added the ability to ignore all Guild Invites

• Reduced the amount of damage cannonballs deal to player masts and sails
• The sun and stars now have the correct orientation across islands

Took them long enough to get the Navy Expedition going.

Yes, but the regular EITC and Navy don'thave their logos on too.... All of the sides got the weapons, so it's possible for future updates or soon about skeleton fleets.... that would rock!

Here is a screenshot of a skeleton ship.

The skeleton ships may be torn, but that doesn't mean they can put the logo on the sails. Sure they'll be torn, but it's still logos.

And a skeleton fleet is very possible. Jolly Roger and the EITC when to Ravens cove, so the fleets that were most likely to go sail to their "destination" were EITC and skeleton.

But skeleton fleets will probably be harder to fight, what with the furry and lightning.
