Navy Treasure Fleet??
 

This is something new? I havent had participated in a navy ship invasion!

The Ship of the Line was "Navy Newcastle" while the other ships escorting it are called "Navy Elite"

First thought that EITC Expedition Fleet was to fit in a story line of carrying el patron's lost weapons. Maybe the purpose of the fleet has been changed since the introduction of the lost weapons, thus EITC and even Navy are carrying treasures now instead of weapons.

I saw the logo in the files a while back, but didn't think anything of it.

How it will play a role in the storyline is beyond me, but it's no different than an EITC fleet. Stop them before they get to their destination or you lose. Exactly the same.

Personally, the navy fleet looks more... fun to me, not because it's new, but because the navy seem like a more appropriate enemy for a pirate to fight.

P.S. While there's an EITC and Navy Ship of the Line in the game, there's also one that's white flags, as in it's for players. Don't know if this means we'll get that ship or not, but it's certainly a thought.

Nice find, by the way. But I don't think doing fleets is worth it if you don't get a skull chest.

I got at least 5 royals from each ship, and only once did I not get a skull loot chest. And I did 2 and a half fleets.

Lucky you, but I've NEVER gotten a skull chest from a fleet, and I've sunk 4 so far.

My thoughts are that, since the eitc fleets to Raven Cove were part of the unveiling of El Patron's Lost Weapons, Disney has decided to make them a permanent part of the game. If they continued to make the EITC heading to Raven Cove for the weapons, it would cause a lot of confusion IMO. ----Just my two cents.

Perhaps this is leading to a stronger Navy presence in the caribbean. It's becoming more and more likely.

I knew something was up when they said NAVY fleets so I was asking me crew and guild why does it say NAVY? Soon enough there were navy ships, Navy Elites and the HMS ( His Majesty's Ship? ) Invincible. They dropped those royals and skull chests like crazy! The elite gave us FIVE royals and a skull chest, the invincible EIGHT royals and a skull chest, it was crazy! Only thing was is that the HMS ships have explosives, war gal got hit with a broadside, sunk with full health, it's POWERFUL so get distance and still I suggest getting rid of Elites to make sure you don't have any other intereferences.

Also on another note, there are new paths, which may lead to that they're coming BACK from raven cove, EITC ships could be coming back because of some new paths they put in.

well, the navy fleet i saw was coming back between cuba and isla tormenta and then going off the map.

I kept on getting caught up with Darkhart when these things came on. I said i would do it... but i didnt lol

I got skull chests with each ship sunk as well. I got a lost relic during my first Navy treasure fleet battle yesterday. So it looks to me, like Disney finally fixed it more appropriately.

Does only the person sailing the ship get the lost relic?

I fought the fleet yesterday as well.

However, I only received 5 royal chests from the two Tyrants I fought, no skull chests.

Unless Disney hates me, I'm pretty sure not all of us get a skull chest.(more likely the person that does the most damage to the ships, maybe)
