February Begins and Nothing New on Test

The invasions have gone from a point as being a new piece of content to entertain the masses, to just filler to keep pirates occuppied while they finish up some newer content. Seeing as how speedy they have been in adding new content in the past few months or so, this medium-sized gap between releases, most likely signifies that a big update is on its way (which we can probably expect anywhere from a week to half a month from now.)

The picture in Keep's post is all the way back from when the game originally launched back in 2007. The gameplay shown was probably just a promotional thing to draw in interested would-be pirates, and theres no real evidence to support if that was actually taken from Open, or even Beta for that matter. A lot of the promotional things that we see from the game are often from Alpha, so theres a large possibility they have already done away with that, as they did with Alpha. (although there is pictures of the Kraken's development in the phase files, which could hint of a possible Kraken in the far-off future.)
