Although the brain would win a lot more hands, it would not win double as many hands. That's what it would need to win manually. Say the macro was set to just keep clicking stay. I think it would win a little more than half the hands a human could win.

Oh my gosh... I can't believe I played for 18 hours manually, to be beated by 2 people who set up hacking programs!
There is no possible way to reach 2,000 or 3,000 without hacking. If I played for 18 hours straight, it's impossible to double or triple my score in just 6 hours that's left in the day. I sent a E-Mail to Disney, hopefully they'll do something.

I'm sure there will be some cheating macro players, but don't sweat it, you cant macro a game of randomly dealt cards now can you? Random is un-predictable, aka not macro-able. Plus, if you were to play that many times a day to get +2000 hands won, then you must really be addicted. No offense, but I wouldn't sweat it. ;-) For all you who play for 18 hours at a time:
WHY? Get out and get exercise, or a read a book please.

I'm thinking about playing blackjack for an hour straight and seeing how many hands that I can play (not just won).

Actually, since Blackjack requires a great deal of luck, depending on how lucky you are in the hands you get, it may be possible to get that much if you keep at it all day.
Also, a macro can be made that will control your mouse. It is possible that you can create a simple macro program that will click on one place on your screen, and then move the mouse to another place and click again. I think that a human will perform better in this case however because it does not rely on mindless button mashing to do. Macros click on a set pattern, and do not know when a button is ready for them. It will click on it when it cycles around to it again. A human can decide when to hit and when to stay. Raising the chances of winning more hands. A human can get to the buttons faster when paying attention because, as I mentioned before, it's not cycling through a set cycle of clicks. Overall, I'd say the humans have the distinct advantage in this case. |

I guess it's all just luck and you just never know, someone could have several people in their family rotate playing. If you have 4 people and you make everyone sit through 2 hour "shifts" and play all day it's not that big of a deal I guess. I admit I am not playing, I got an ipod touch for Christmas (yay me!
) but I do check out the leader board and am amazed by the scores some of these people get. I do hope there is a way for Disney to find out if they won those by playing manually or if a macro was used! Personally, I would never have the time or patience to sit there for that long playing blackjack!

I suppose you're entitled to your opinion, but I doubt that Disney would agree with you. There's certainly nothing in the contest rules that forbids it.
