Grenade Leveling Guide

Go to the catacombs and walk 3/4 of the way down the stairs. While standing on the stairs turn left and throw at the raiders and soldiers on the ground. The raiders get glitched and don't attack and the soldiers get stuck so they can't reach you. Yields fair reps and is safe. If you get in trouble just run back up the stairs and out of the catacombs. I mastered nades a long time ago, it's easy if you focus only on grenades and nothing else, it's all a mind thing, you just have to want it.

nice guide. only time i have ever gotten to 20 was during double rep when i did that at level 20 at kingshead lol..i refuse to get them any farther than 20 lol

Yes, I can truly say that after taking forever to master them with my first pirate at Noto 36, you'd figured I'd omit nading forever? It was surely painful but ye learn from your mistakes!!! To say the least, I made sure that nades was always the first to be mastered on all my other pirates. I would definitely encourage to put your blinders on and not worry about anything else after you complete your nades quest and just get it done quick.

I've gotten sweet reps on KH mob specially using stink bombs, switching to smoke bombs until they're all used up, and then finish with whatever arsenal I have left. I've mastered nades with pirate #2 at Noto 25-26 and #3 probably at Noto 24?

Once Mastered I do use these rocks to play "bowling" @ Kh or Pirate "Dodge Ball"!

I was in a crew last night and a pirate was trying to recruit a friend to his guild with a promise of a "secret" way to throw grenades really fast. I like grenades and had to try to figure out what he meant. I did. Secret no more. To throw grenades faster keep hiting ctrl then any number to change grenade type and repeat. It is like rapid reload. Just vary the grenade types. I used ctrl, then 1, ctrl then 2, ctrl then 3 etc. Did not use 5 seige chaarge much. The grenades just pop out of your hand. Tried this with my level 42 this morning, I am level 43 now.

This also works with the Left Mouse Button and the ammo Number key. In fact, once you get the timming down you can throw the same ammo type and not have to change Numbers unless you want to.

Actually, if you throw the same ammo it goes slower than it does with using all the different ammo. But it is a little faster to throw the same ammo with that method, than it is to just throw without any tricks.

Talk about confusing sentences.

True that Grenades are mostly a mind game. They are similar to potions for me though. Took too big a dose, and can't stand to do either anymore. Ah, the Omens of he who does not care for anything but a powerful weapon. It would seem as if half of us are that man, but we cannot become ourselves again. At least not until we take a break or find it.

My pirate is a lvl 34 but my grenades are only lvl 10 ( didn't use them at all) since my other weapons have lvls is the 20's I thought it was finally time to lvl the nades so I went to outcast and used them on the lvl 30 somethings flytraps (all of the flytraps had red tags) but I still only got 30 rep for each, arent you supposed to get more than that?

You need a healer and Tormenta....tag all the enemies in the middle area and then speed nade them...or the bridge at Torm....for really good reps now at your level. And the treasure room is nice but tricky. Again, dont do it alone yet.

On my next level I get the grenade quest. I will take this guide into consideration. Great job writing it, most guides are poorly written and don't make any sense.

Go to Bonerattler, and do the distance thing with the raiders ONLY. Throw maybe five smokes, and switch between fire bombs and stink pots. If done correctly you shouldn't die, and they should just stand there with a sword after a few daggers swings. Kill the sergeant by throwing a stink pot at him, then sword and defeat him quickly, switch back to nades in order for raiders to be defeated.
