Yep, Disney banned me for helping Jess get vent working. Bella even warned me that she had been banned once for doing the same thing. Can any of you find my name, address, or any other info that 'personally identifies" me? Is there anything there that tells anyone ANYTHING personal about me? Quite honestly, this is getting out of control. Next I'll be getting banned for saying hi to everyone! I should be back tonight, but it's nice to know that my personal chat censor(s) are still gainfully employed! I am doind my part to help the economy. See you tonight.

Wow Basil. The unintended smileys actually are amusing, especially the cop cars and the last one with the "10's". (not that getting suspended is amusing)
But no, I don't see anything personally identifiable though D doesn't like talk about external chat mediums. Maybe they just don't have category for that (yet).

hehe - it took the quoted time and found the Smiley Icons with them (since in BB Code the icons are names surrounded by : - it found pics of : number : LOL
 )...Guess there was no : 52 : though - it didn't touch that time

I'm sure it's because of the website addy lookin' thing (even though we all know that it's useless without the rest of the info).
But, um, congrats(?) on the double digits. Now quit it before we lose our GM.

Well amigo you are doing well. This here is why being a GM and officer in a guild trying to past info to your guild, is a punishment.
I have listed this several times in rants/side posts. This is nothing new to us, this was happening to any of our guild officers for the most part something like 6 months ago. Any form what so ever with vent in it was a ban. Listing the guild web site was fine. Next day it was a ban. Listing a web site that has vent info, apparently a ban. Beating the ban with appeals and even quoted responses that this certain information was approved = ban, however many months they had to go back searching files for something else. Though many times listing a site like that would get things by filters, it was always argued did a filter pick it up, or just a trouble maker reporting it. Any case, the result ended up with people who were paying for member account event gifts and such perma ban. As well as guilds like ours locked out with gm perma bans. Good luck with the battle to have fun and communicate. At least that side has got a little better and it doesn't take writing a sentence three times to get it through, so vent or something the only possible way to communicate. Being on something like vent sure brings these things to light though what is happening to everyone while they are sitting there on vent telling you of their bans.

I'm so sorry, Basil! I got banned too. I think you were just guilty by association cause we've talked about the guild site so many times in chat before. I'm really sorry! It's not a perma ban, is it? Cause if it is, I'll pay for another account for you! You can have mine!

If i were to guess.. it was this that caused the ban:
"Hostname should say Dueceswilddotguidventdotnet" Which effectively provided an external site to go to as far as they were concerned. That plus its fairly known they do not like people passing Ventrilo (or other chat information) along. Hurry back chief!

Not a permaban, Jess!!! But I guess I had better behave for awhile. Tho, I think I could say HELLO and get banned now!
I can afford a new account, trust me, I'm just worried that their stupidness on this will cause the loss of DW GM.
