Nothing to say about this beastie, as I didn't even attempt to fight him on my little level 8.

Even my level eleven pirate didn't try and fight that boss.
Most of the bosses will be a match for lower level pirates but other than that I don't think of them as bosses rather as group leaders.

Now having said this I think the quests to defeat the bosses means fighting them a lot! I think because of the glow and how much bigger the "bosses" are than normal I'm guessing this has something to do with Jolly Roger. I'm guessing the higher level weapons quests won't be hard but they will be time consuming.
