I just went to one of the talk pages on that wiki (Edward Teach, PotC4 or something else).. where my fellow users there (yes I'm one of the users) were discussing about the same thing. They gave these two comparisons:
*In real life, Edward Teach had 14 wives
*In the Pirates series Edward Teach has 14 wives and one daughter.
Precisely my point. They are taking a Real Pirate and just nonchalantly changing his history. They are just rewriting someone history. That is what I meant about fictitious characters and how great job POTC did by not including any real pirates. He was married once. Before going back to piracy. I have done research about the life of Blackbeard. Imagine if they included George Washington's Evil Twin Emil Washington.

Anyway, I'll just consult a few people on it, but I'm pretty sure that the reference would be to either "The Secret Files of the East India Trading Company" OR "Pirates of the Caribbean:The Complete Visual Guide". But what makes YOU so certain that Blackbeard came in the third film? The story about OST is that Ed and his daughter has been hiding in the Inlet for many years (or a few) and now want to come out to find the Fountain of Youth, as I have read in some sites.
You are obviously talking about fiction I am definitely not. I am talking about facts.

And his flag is in the 3rd film. Don't believe me? Then just go watch it. They used real pirate flags.

So with me being an editor there, I thought I;ll ask you because of your statement. Should the mentioned story about his daughter Angelica come under a title Fictional History?

Yes. What I meant was that in the 3rd movie, the flag which we saw of Blackbeard's was actually that of Eduardo Villuenelva. I remember seeing a section that when this flags' scene appeared in the trailer, many users claimed that Blackbeard was coming to the movie, and the section said, "However this was revealed to be Villuenelva's flag". Okay now I did not tell you this: A user on that same site gave me the ORIGINAL script for PotC3 by uploading it for a day. In that very script, Blackbeard and Anne Bonny DO appear as Pirate Lords. But this idea was scrapped as they probably wanted to do something with them in Future. Blackbeard in this script starts a fight with Capitaine Chevalle because the latter had given Lord Beckett his piece of eight years ago in a game of... well some Chinese game. And Teach was removed from the script. Again as I said, Teach's fictional background story was that he was in hiding during Lord Beckett's
War Against Piracy. Then how could he come during AWE? He was in hiding because he was old. And again as I said, the fact that Teach's flag that we saw was actually Villuenelva's flag, is taken from one of the two books I mentioned. BUT I will have confirm about this with a user, and I will get back to you on that okay? BUT again, both of us will have to wait for the 4th movie for an official confirmation on his background (i.e, if he mentions anything about hiding or his involvement in the War)

Regards--- Midhav
