Losing The Will To Live.

I know there's been a lot of talk about nades being a pain without Kh glitch working properly, but i never used it to begin with.
Having just spent the last few hour trading nades with urchinfists and getting pathetic rep from them i'm losing the will to live.
I don't have a problem with where to do it, cos as far as i'm concerned there's a lot of places to do them.
But it just seems to me that you get less rep from each enemy with them compared with what you'll get from the same enemy using another weapon thats at the same level.
What can I do to get more rep?
I'm using smoke bomb and i have just 1 point in everything.

i began reping up with flytraps until level 8-9 then i headed elsewhere. try crewing up or get a healer.

I'm at lv13 and always crew up cos of not it's not even worth it lol

I find General Darkhart on the Padres beach to be terrific for leveling grenades. If you attack him correctly he doesn't get close to you. Depending on your level it might take you awhile at first without some buddies, but it is an alternative method to level up nades.

If you are doing urchinfist, I hope you have toughness 5 points.
With a lot less damage that helps. Though it takes a number of trips to that island, using smoke bombs is what helps with the rep, but not so much what kills it.

I attack two Urchinfist with grenades, and get them to gather together. Depending on their level, your level etc, I usually throw like 7 smoke bombs, and the rest stink bomb, or fire. To save on a potion, I usually switch to doll and do a life drain, shackles maybe a few times when needed.

This gets 150-170ish rep each, or times two for grenades needed for a kill. If you are getting higher level, will take a few more smoke bombs. Other than crew bonus, wish for a double xp weekend or something.

I think i'll spend a bit more time using darkhart, at least then you dont have to keep going back and forth to restock. cheers.

Just don't level up your grenades until your above level 30. Then just go to kingshead, right into the middle of the formation, and throw the grenades at your feet. I've kept track, you can get 2500 rep an hour and 2000 gold an hour doing that.

Just noticed you are at level 13. You can get a few more levels at kings. Then perhaps a couple grenadier on back beach at a time. That is great with a ammo shop there.

I would compare what you get on darkhart, against a couple grenadier. A boss takes a lot more hits, and would assume a bigger waste in grenades.

It also is going to depend how you have been fighting in a crew. Several people taking out a target in a crew is not going to gain very much rep in the skill you are working. Though I believe Disney likes to push this idea, if you want to gain a lot of rep it doesn't work. Crewing works best when you crew together and work on your own enemy, perhaps healing when needed to each other.

I would take a crew to the back of Padres, then let your matees attack Darkheart while you attack a red lv skeleton. The good thing about grenades is, despite the rep inpairment, they can take down several enemies quickly. I would stand on top of the shack and throw grens at the skeletons and navy that are fighting. They can't hit you except with ranged attacks, so they should be pretty easy. Or just goto Kings .

It really depends on how you fight and what you want to accomplish. I usually always work several things at once, grenades in combo with other things.

I did a little guide on the guides thread a little while back, just to demonstrate how you can fight for a lot of rep.

Darkhart is a boss this can be taken a step further. Solo play you can get around 550 rep if you play it right, and not even sure where that would be with a crew bonus. That would be leveling several things at once for max rep.

Maybe I will post a pic next time Disney gives us a hat instead of new content, haha.
