Need Major Help With Grenade Quest!!!

I just reached level 20 today () but the quest for grenades are driving me crazy! It says I have to search ten boxes and ten barrels. That would be fine if I'm not always getting attacked by a swarm of level 18 veterans. There were literally 5 veterans following me around. I'm even getting attacked by enemies I can't even see! If there are any kind people that can help by distracting the soldiers for me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Best advice I can offer, since this update has the mobs attacking from nowhere, is get with a crew, or guild members if you have one. Slap a though bubble over your head that says "headed to KH to search, anyone up for some fighting?" and see. Never know, there may be several others out there that need the same help. If you're looking for a guild, there are several guilds here on pof to look into.

I might ask some members of Black Bart's Krewe to help me out tonight. Can someone tell me if this is the hardest part of the quest?

After you do the first round of searches, you get to...JOY...do it again. With some sailing in between. Get Bart's gang to help, it will fly by

Here's what I did:

1. Stock up on tonic (just in case you need it)
2. Remember to get the crate outside the fort
3. Get the crate just inside the door
4. Skip the barrel next to it
5. Head up towards the first fort level
6. Get the barrels and crates near that archway
7. Skip the barrel at the end of the ramp going into the first fort
8. Get the rest up in the first fort and on top the walls
9. Take your time and pick your battles wisely
10. Leave yourself time for your health to restore before jumping into the next battle

Of course, if you want to do it the fast way, recruit some of your high level guildies, with staffs, and let them pick the fights ahead of you. The downside to that...you don't gain the rep from doing all the work yourself.

I got mine the first time on my own. The second time I played two computers and that made it easy. It is fun to help others though to do them quests for it. I have been asked to help with some quest to kill off certain type of enemy's but instead of sending my one player I'm doing quest stuff on I send the other one there. I do ask what server they are on cause they are not on the friends list for the other player.

To do it on my own I ran voodoo doll around them. It took awhile longer but I got rep and pride knowing I did it myself.

It is possible to do it by yourself but its fun to do it with others as well. I've done it both ways and kinda prefer doing it alone. But like wmah said you get to gloat a little and say you did by yourself

Hey Eric.
Have you gotten your grenade quest finshed yet? The Krewe was very helpful in my gatting through the barrels and crates. Ask for the assist and I will be happy to lend a hand, as I am sure that Lizzy, Redfury and JK will as well. They are the team htat watched my back while I scampered about the place.
