How do I get a Voodoo Doll? - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

I am basic member at Notoriety Level 8. When i look at the Weopons display, it says Doll unlocked at Notoriety level 5.

My quest details show 85%
I have collected materials to make doll and gone back to visit Tia Domma.

Is the doll locked to all basic membership users?

Yes basic users do get access to the Voodoo Doll. Also yes you do unlock the quest at notoriety level 5.

You must complete a quest to get it so that 85% means you need to finish the rest of that quest to unlock it.

Yep, just finish the quest and you'll get the doll. It should tell you what you need to do on your journal page.

Lessee here: first you gather ship and Port Royal Fort materials, then you go back to the lady. Then you gather animal parts, and revisit the lady. The you collect zombie dust and revisit the lady. That is the quest in whole. Do all those things yet?

As was stated before, level 5 unlocks the quest for the voodoo doll, basic members can finish the quest, receive and use the doll.
You must finish that quest before you will be granted the doll.

Thanks. i dont have the game online right now (at work) but i dont remember anything about the "Zombie dust" portion of the quest displaying on my journal. I did the other parts and they all say complete. I will look again when back online. Also, the link to the complete outline of the quest i think will be very beneficial. Thanks so much to each of ye hearties!

Okay....I'm looking at quest journa now. It reads:
WEAPON UNLOCK VOODOO DOLL 35%
Doll Makings (complete)
Plunder Pitch (complete)
Plunder Straw (complete)

Plunder Wire (complete)

STORY CHAPTER: the Black Pearl

I don't get a scroll bar to scroll up and down.

Mystery solved (somewhat)....

ALthough i have visited Tia Dolma several times since completing these first few Doll-quests, apparently i visited her while working on other quests. I put "track"ing back on the last Doll related quest and went back to Tia, who gave me the other quests i needed to get the doll.
Thanks for all the input....it really helped to troubleshoot.

That's a strange solution to your problem... might be a problem (the solution, that is). it should have been recognized anyway anywhoo.

Nope, not anymore! They allow basic members to have voodoo dolls now. Isn't it great for you? Now you can heal people! Your friends! What happy thoughts for basic members.

Keep going you'll get it, but it's so much cooler if you get unlimited version. You can even buy game cards at best buy now for as low as ten bucks and play for atleast a mont. Try it!

FWIW,
If you have more than one quest for Tia Dalma, or any other NPC, you will need to initiate a new conversation for each quest.

So if your Black Pearl quest and VooDoo quest both hinge on a visit to Tia Dalma, after you finish your Black Pearl conversation, you will need to initiate a new conversation again for your doll. You do not need to leave her area, or even move your pirate. Just hit shift again, and initiate new dialog.
