Fed up!

For ages now I've had the 2nd list in my quest chest. Its completed and i've been ready to do the boss battle. Tonight I completed the Boss Battle with some FAB friends (many thanks!!!) but the 2nd List is still in my chest!!! It will not go!! So i've been unable to pick up any new quests! Says I need to finish a fortune quest before I can pick up another!!! I DONT HAVE ANY QUESTS TO FINISH!!!
I'm at my wits end with test and dont know where to go from here. I can't 'test' because I can't pick up anything new!! I've sent reports again and again to disney with pic etc but nothings been done. Am I missing something?? I just want my chest cleared and be able to pick stuff up again. Anyone got any ideas?? Pleeeeeeeeaaassseeeee!!

The Story quest is not a fortune quest and is never considered one (unless its a bug).
I know for a fact it is not on open.

If its tellin you that you have to finish a fortune quest, then that is the issue. Not the 2nd list (at least not normally, as 2nd list is part of the Story quest).

Besides that would be one quest, hardly enough to stop you from picking up others.

Sounds like it might be bugged and think you have quests you do not currently have. (which may be manifesting itself by SHOWING you the 2nd list still.)

Hmmm yes I see what you mean but the question is what can I do about it?? Any Ideas??
I'm sure also the 2nd list disappeared when you were ready to do the BB.
I don't really want to work another pirate up to skulls level lol I'd prefer to get it sorted. Oh woe is me!!

Several people have had this problem on test, myself included, and one of our members has it on open. It is a problem with the story quest. Sometimes it can be fixed by doing the John Smith tasks and the Boss battle over again, sometimes not. For me, doing the quests that were still showing worked. I just kept getting the ones from John Smith until he sent me back to Bowdash, repeated the BB, then visited everyone left on the list that was still there.

My list cleared off after that. Others have tried the same thing with various results. Some can clear part of the list, for some it does nothing to help. Our guild mate that has the same issue with one of his pirates on open and one in test has had disney working on it for a while now and has not had the issue resovled. They've even logged into the game on his account to see the problem first hand. Still no luck for him.
