Finally!! I have power again!
How sad is it that the thing I am looking forward to most while the power was out is getting back on the game. I am just pathetic.
We lost some trees and fences during the hurricane, but no house damage. Power was out for a week, and it was HOT. There is definately a reason Houston was not heavily populated until after air conditioning came along. See y'all in the game. Rose Yellowcastle / Sam |

Welcome back. I can relate somewhat to the power being out and wanting to play POTCO. We returned home the Wednesday after Gustav hit and were without power until the following Monday. We have a generator though so it helped to run ceiling fans, the fridge and freezer, and a couple of window ac units.

WB! Glad you didn't suffer any major damage from the storm, Rose. Sorry to hear about the electricity though, that would have driven me nutty.

Glad to hear things turned out well for the most part. It's very understandable that you were eager to get back into the game. It's a place where many connect for laughs, fun and an escape from reality. Take care....
