Too many things to put in the title....(

POTCO needs a few things right?
The ocean currents(sp?) just seem the same. Can't they make them more realistic?
More ship classes?
They made the black pearl and that could be a ship class.
More islands?

An island just for Jolly Roger where undead ships surround it and for a quest you'll need to go there as the undead?
As in take one of barbossas cursed coins and sink many undead ships to make your ship look like one to get in safely.

An island just for PvP like they did SvS?
Sorry but it takes too long to get in PvP so why not an island that's big enough to hold a few hundred people for it?

Like I said more ship classes. Or at least have the same ship classes but look different.
I mean the frigates don't need the ---> in the front of it. The black pearl is a ship class of it's own so why not make that a ship class? POTBS has a lot of ship classes but it's ship battles stink. Why can't we have some more ship classes?

Ship Reck cove(is that right?) like in the movies!
I would want to go on that island where all the buildings are made from ships!
How cool would that look!? Besides I think it would be a good place for more quests.

Of course all the movie realated islands would be nice.
Bigger closets for more cloths.

Also I said the ocean. POTBS oceans look great while pirates onlines is just kind of the same. And the weather. I would like to have wind mess with my sails and make it hard to get to certain places sometimes depending on where it blows.
Rain too.

And more sinking scense. Don't you get tired of the same old sinking scene where it falls back? We need more sinking scenes!

And what about(this idea is all mine!)
A place where there were so many ships that sank that it is hard to get into. What I mean is have ships that sunk pilled on other ships and have them stuck up out of the water.
This place could be where you literally get planks of wood and walk off your ship and explore. See people begging for help. If your ship hits the ships that are above the ground then your ship will get damaged.
You know like in the first pirates movie where there were all these ships in the first scene stuck up out of the water?

A ship sinking scene where your ship could blow up or where it brakes in half would be nice.

Well keep in mind this an online game that is always full of people, its hard to make big updates. Creating new islands means you would have to move other islands which means that they would have to shut down the game to everyone. Who wants an underconstruction sign when you try to sign on? Since peopleare paying for this game you can't deny them access withput refunding money. I do love the idea of the weather and wind though. And the ships sinking scenes. They are getting boring. =)

Im standing with my point that this game was simply released to early therefore they scrapped alot of stuff for later and released in my eyes half a game.

I will tell you this.
Pirates online was released early so the Pirates of the burning Sea game wouldn't be noticed as much.

So pirates online would literally have been released October of this year.
We would have had more than we do now but the game was released to get more palyers.
If pirates of the burning sea would have released before pirates then that might have ment less money for POTCO.

So to make it short and sweet it was released early just to be released before POTBS.

Ahh, that isn't good business. Launching a project too early only results in failure: ex: the lack of content, enemies, etc. I know that this game has a LOT of potential but it would have been better in terms of keeping customers if they released it when the Devs were actually READY. Now, there are countless bugs, over-rated updates (Yes, SvS is always fun but there are just too many bugs), the ever lasting repetitive quests, heck, the only reason I'm still playing is because of my guild. If they would have released it this Oct. then there would definitely be more things to look forward to, enemies, quests, etc, etc, etc. It might have even surpassed POTBS in terms of the amount of players. Instead, there are now about 1,000 lvl 40, fully mastered pirates out there, who are either playing just because of friends, guild, leaderboards, planning on leaving but not completley sure yet, OR they're already gone. And, there's no sign of new Notoriety caps, new islands, new anything, in sight, and THAT'S what's making POTCO hit rock bottom.

Lol, why do you guys think they made room to make so many pirates?

If people didn't have the option to make more than 2 pirates, then there would be hardly any players anymore, simply for the fact that there is not enough content.

I'm working my second pirate right now, didn't start him that long ago, and he's level 28.

We need new storylines, or else we are going to see a BIG drop in players soon.

It would be awesome if it rained and there was lightning! I agree with the more ship classes as well. I also want our ships to have cabins and a captain's quarters. Maybe even a below deck area. Now wouldn't that be cool?!

Those ideas are pretty cool, except I disagree on some.

I think those ideas are actually pretty fair...as we all know many MMO's eventually expand into even bigger worlds with more to see and do, more to explore...

One thing I'd like to see as well is a Tortuga that is more like the Tortuga in the movies...that being more piratey and livelier...

I agree.
I think tortuga and port royal could use some expanding. They could at least look more like they do in the movies.
EDIT: Wow, I was in a rush when I made this thread.

I agree with that too MacIronHawk

Also! Guess what else the islands need to be expanded the islands themselves. Do you realize that if each island let's say had 50 area's to walk around, caves, mountains, jungles, beaches, coves, so on and so forth it would even bring down the lag and even bring about the new ideas for enemies!

Places like port royal if the royal navy is after me I shouldn't be docking in the harbor for instance with my war galleon, but I could you know maybe dock by this lagoon on the other side of the island and have a good time taking out some skeletons to get to the city.

Why not include islands from the movies as well? Like the isla de muerta or shipwreck cove. I think you mentioned that Ironhawk. (I kinda speed-read this lol). Of all the MMOs I've played I love POTCO the most but it does lack majorly compared to others. Which is why most have quit and gone on to new games. Lets hope they update it soon.
