HTTP Proxy Server question

I can play potco whenever I am back home, but during the semester I live on campus and cannot connect due to the school http proxy server.

I have put potco on the safe list for the firewall and I have tried all the ports that the website said to use. But no luck. The screen pops up and says "Retrieving version info" then goes away.

Any suggestions?

The game itself isnt using http (except for its news blurb in the launcher), make sure your opening/redirecting tcp/udp ports for the game. (maybe you are, thats all I could think of though)

Have you tried running the program in comaptability mode for windows XP? Because the game dose not use HTTP(Except for the news flash) So I really dont know if its a problem for your proxy. Try logging on the website. And see if it is blocked. You may also want to do this. When you get home, packet sniff the game. Find out what the game gets all its data from, and ad it to the proxy.
