Boss Battle as Crew

I was wondering what happens if you are just a crew member in a boss battle and the crew wins. Does the crew member get credit for completing the quest

If you are a crew member that is at the "Play Boss Battle" point in your story quest, then YES. It will complete the quest, and credit you accordingly.

If you are a crew member that is not yet at the "Play Boss Battle" point, or has already finished it, you get reps, gold, and any treasures obtained in the process just like the regular game. But it is a change of pace, and fun!
