Expansion?

I've heard rumors of an expansion or big update. Does anyone know if this is fact or fiction??

In a news release, (or update, or something) not long ago, Disney said they would be doing quarterly expansions to the game. So that puts the next one due at or near the end of summer.

its going to be about mid-way summer they cant put it at the end or we wouldnt hae enough time to enjoy it

Maybe it says somewhere, but I am always completely clueless about the obvious, but does anyone know if it will be a big one? Like adding more quests or a chapter?

Lots of contemplation, conjecture, wishful thinking, etc. has definately taken place.

In truth I do not think anyone knows until it hits the test servers, and we get to see somewhat what thier testing (from thier reports). We dont always see everything they see on test either.

We know for example that crew/ship battles etc have been on/off test servers in preparation for a release on open servers. This is pretty sure to happen barring any unforeseen major problems.

Anything else? Well.. this is yet to be seen (or heard about). I have heard rumors from testers here in the forums of some new quests as being french, and as being spanish.. but rumors are rumors.

If one reviews the various interviews etc for the developers (on POTCO website, and DxD channel) it reflects alot of things they want to do, that have not been done yet. This helps to feed the contemplation, and conjecture.. hehe.

Perhaps wishful thinking for many of us that are growing weary of the game as it is. We do not want to leave, we love the game, but its entertainment levels wane without new content.

If they dont intend on lifting the level 40 notoriety level cap (saw someone post a response they received from POTCO support they hadnt planned on it), even with new content the game loses interest for many that have already achieved this cap one or more times.

Oh yeah the sea serpents theres a skill for cannoning on that but we havent seen one..
