Yo ho ho and all that good pirately stuff!

My handle here is Warmare, and I'm really excited to have found this game! I feel like I've been sleeping under a rock for awhile, as I had no idea it existed. Being a huge fan of POTC (to date myself terribly I've been a fan of the ride since it first opened. Yes, first opened. Then when the movies came out I fell in love with the concept all over again, and so very much appreciated the fact that they kept so much of the ride in the movies.

So I'm hooked. lol

I found POTO yesterday and have been glued to it since. My buddies over in Star Wars Galaxies are probably wondering where I am.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to chatting with you all and making some buddies. I'm a rarity...an adult female gamer. But still, I love to game, I love to hang out with friends and I love gaming...so thanks for having me here and I look forward to meeting all of you soundrels knaves and all around fun pirately types.

Thank you for the welcome and the links! I am really happy there is a Guide, I've been looking all over for one, but I guess I just wasn't looking in the right place.

I'll be reading the forums voraciously for a good long while probably, so I hope you don't get sick of seeing me.

I'll be sure to holler if I get too stuck at a place. I just made a new pirate this morning, hopefully correcting some mistakes I made with my first attempt (not training in cutlass and pistol enough, that sort of thing) so hopefully the name will be approved and I'll be adding a secnd pirate frofile soon.

Ah, yes: voraciously. I know what that means... anyway, it turns out that adult, female players aren't as rare a gem as they might think; either that or there is a far larger number of guys masquerading as females than should be. Regardless, you're among a deadly lot, hating rules and all sorts of mal- -archies. That is to say, you're among friends. Welcome aboard this invisible ship: it's there, mind you.
