Hi all members of Rums Ahoy!

I decided to take this opportunity to welcome you to POF. Though I'm not a POF official, I always like to take the time to welcome guilds and members to POF, and give them a little information about the site and its features.

A couple things to remember:

Guildmaster - in your User CP, click Group Memberships on your side control panel bar. At the very top of your screen, you should see requests to join your Group Forum. If you accept a person into your group forum, they are then welcome to change their Group Membership Identification to Rums Ahoy.

Officers - it's a good idea to make the officers of a guild known on a forum. Prospective members like to know who's in charge and what their personality is before choosing a guild. Make sure your POF posts reflect who you are in POTCO.

Members - be sure to join your guild's Group Forum. To do this, go to your User CP and click Group Memberships on your side navigation bar. Then, join the group Rums Ahoy. Check back often to see if your guildmaster has approved your request - once the guildmaster has, scroll down to where you can choose which group you will be identified as. Choose to be identified as a member of Rums Ahoy. Then, on all your posts, a nice little image with your guild's name will appear below your name - just like mine says Tortugan Terrors, Clan Leader, and Founder.
