What is a Swash and why does it need to be buckled anyway?

I'm Miss Gnomer in game, level 14 pirate who likes to slash at things and shoot at some other things and cannonify things with glorious woops while wearing my most fantasticest hat and furious pantaloons.

I'm not very tall so you may miss me but if you see me around say hi! I hang out mostly in Port Royal lately doing quests or sailing my sloop

It is based on a fighting style using a side-sword with a buckler in the off-hand, which was filled with much "swashing and making a noise on the buckler"."

I never played EQ but I did play Eq2 as a Gnome! Sulfie on Lucan D'lere, or Antonia I forget

Miss Gnomer was just a funny play on words I thought to give her for her short height as her nickname.
