im not compleatly sure what vent is if you explain what it is ill use it

this is my fist guild so idk up untill now i was joinning other peoples guilds but this guild seems to be hitting it off well

I'm sure someone else can explain it better, but Vent is a chat program. The War Wenches can talk to each other using headsets instead of having to use the chat system in the game.

Vent... aka Ventilo. A VOIP (voice over ip) type of application that is not part of POTC, and is externally hosted. This allows those connected to actually talk to each other (beats typing by a mile!!!)

A Ventrilo voice server will cost some bucks, not alot necessarily, it generally depends on how many slots you want (how many can connect at one time).

There is another well known similar application called "TeamSpeak", if you have the bandwidth (and no, most standard home owner ISP accounts will NOT suffice) and a computer to host it, this one can be run for free, but not only requires the aforementioned bandwidth and host computer, but also the know how.

Go to http://www.ventrilo.com/ they list thier approved/licensed hosts or google "ventrilo hosts" and you should find a number of links to information/pricing from various competitive hosts.
