The Battle for Padres del Fuego in Peril

Jolly Roger's undead hordes continue marching mercilessly upon Padres del Fuego this month, sometimes staging multiple attacks in a single day. While brave Pirates have repelled many of these invasions, we have lost to Jolly's sheer numbers and infernal Curse more times than not.

Each time Jolly Roger successfully breaches our barricades, his cursed grasp reaches deeper and deeper into the catacombs and lava gorges... and closer to what he so desperately seeks.
"Seeks" but has not yet found, which means we still have a fighting chance.

Band together and turn the tide, mates – defend Padres to the last Pirate, and
stop those undead cold!

Anyone else notice that that is a picture of the Old Padres del Fuego? Its been so long I had almost forgotten how it looked.

I truly hope that this is going to lead to a nice update, and not just some throw away code item... that really would be quite heartbreaking.

If they are bringing old Padres del fuego back it would be great, I've never actually seen old Padres, but from a wiki page it seems the sky in that photo is from 2010. Maybe from what I can understand is Jolly roger ends up winning for the battle of padres and makes the volcano erupt causing more lava to pour onto the town of Padres as it is now, once the lava has settled the residents and business owners start to rebuild Padres with the help of the Marceline guild and us pirates where a quest or quests are involved to collect certain materials for building, which in turn gives max pirates a new level and notoriety and the residents end up building Old Padres again

Lets hope they do the same with Tortuga and Port Royal too. The new towns haven't worked and I feel they're starting to realize that

Interesting theory. Don't think it will be that way. I would think it would be much like Ezekiel Rott's quest leading to the discovery of a new island where the treasure is actually buried or perhaps taken to? 0_0

As much as I love hearing things like that, I doubt old Padres would be brought back. I'm pretty sure Disney has a great habit of using pictures that have outdated or otherwise unseen objects here and there.

But yes, we can all hope that something big, or at least worthwhile, will come out of this. I mean, hey, there's potential for a good storyline here...

New enemies, I think. It said 'His cursed grasp reaches deeper and deeper into the catacombs and lava gorges'. If it is new enemies, I sort of doubt he's ever going to find whatever he wants there if we get new enemies, but maybe he makes new weapons to help him find the things?

Seeks? Reminds me of Roland's quest for the orb which would raise EITC from the dead to form his own army. Its one of several quests that have stopped dead cold. Maybe that story is tied to it. Would be cool. Like the Raven's Cove quest where both Beckett and Jolly race to find the cursed weapons, Beckett and Jolly race to find the orb which Roland has hidden away for safe keeping? So the quest goes resulting in perhaps Beckett winning this time and from then on we'd soon another type of Invasion led by the undead EITC.

Could be that and not some new island. If a new island, the clue is what's said thereafter about us having 'a fighting chance'. In reality, Jolly does win in those Quiet servers multiple times a day. However, for the sake of the story line, we will have fought Jolly off enough for the Marceline Guild to find the mystical item and sail away with it to some unknown isle. Quite possible. In return we get some special item for our heroics for now while we continue to follow the story leading to something new...
