Jolly Roger’s March on Padres - March 03, 2013

Marceline GM Ben Bowman recently stared down quite a sight, questing in undead-infested Las Pulgas on Padres del Fuego: several of Jolly Roger’s trusted lieutenants holding shadowy council with none other than undead General Darkhart himself.

From what could be understood out of their rotted mouths, Jolly Roger has lately become obsessed with the fiery island.
He’s ordered his undead forces to target Padres del Fuego in full force, marching mercilessly on the island until the object of his obsession has been found.

An undiscovered weapon of power, forgotten by the ill-fated Conquistadors long ago?
Or some other deadly secret bubbling deep in the mysterious molten magma?

When you sight the hideous Harkaway circling off Padres, sound the alarm!
Arm yerselves to repel Jolly Roger’s hordes from Padres del Fuego – if his undead forces are finally foiled, perhaps we Pirates can uncover this mystery first…

I'm confused about this one

Just means Invasions will be at Padres only. The story line will lead to some promo item give away or maybe a new quest leading up to a new island. If the latter be true, would be nice to see the EITC lead this quest via Cutler Beckett instead of the Muertos bunch for a change. Show a bit of payback for what Jolly did with Raven's.

This is the first sign we've seen in about a year of hope. I can see some really good potential in this one for something good... the set-up reminds me somewhat of what they did with El Patron's weapon stash three years ago. I just hope that this won't lead to yet another garbage code item...

Oh, did anyone else notice that this ends March 30th, and two days later is April 1st? Well, let's just hope that this will lead to an update. It's the first sign we've seen in a very long time...

A, I get it now. However I had noticed an unannounced curse of the muertos moon in the early hours of the morning. so glad they brought this back

Wow, some of my guildmates and I noticed the moon and wondered, guess this explains it! Really hoping for a new update, but at the very least, the moon is fun.

Sure did. I also figured that, in their own clever way, they didn't want to post anything new at the Blog during March Madness. They must really like/ love their college basketball.
