First we asked Pirates to “strike their colors” and surrender their savviest ideas for new sail emblems. Now we invite you to fly yer colors with these five fantastic new emblems:

These Pirates are without a doubt an extremely crafty and creative crew. We received many fantastic entries, and it was no easy feat to choose only fifteen winners.

The five savvy new emblems will be available in both black and white versions at Shipwrights soon in our next update to the Caribbean:

I'm suprized that the grand prize winners beat some of the Frst prize winners - I'll be 100% honest, I'd rathar have the Cutlass Wolf and the Trident Skull than the Mermaid and the Octopus.

The reason being octopusses and mermaids dont strike fear into the Navy's heart.

I am in NO WAY saying they were bad, they all rocked!

In my personal opinion, Trident Skull deserved to be one of the emblems in-game; truly a well-gathered and crafted emblem!

It's a shame our beloved Victory Shark did not make the final cut, but at least she'll remained immortalized on the seas which she will continue to dominate

Congratulations to all the winners, and nice job to all of those who entered! Glad to see we got some talent in the Caribbean beyond the tip of a sword

Test has been updated and the new emblems are there now. I don't know what else is there, but I just thought that I'd share the news.

Live is going under maintenance now - looks like these new emblems are almost here!

If so then... wow it didnt get much testing at all. Regardless of how small an update is, it should still get a few days or up to a few weeks of fixing bugs/glitches etc. Unless Disney is trying to "push things along" because they have a bigger update coming. Hmm.... Only time will tell, I guess...

The new emblems need to be changed so that they can fit larger ship sails (War Frigate/Brig). Also, the skull emblem seems to be a bit blurry...

Nice to see some new emblems added, my favorite is definitely the Storm cloud.

I do think I would have rathered some of the first prize winners over the grands.
Like the compass, cutlass wolf or the phoenix.

I would have used the clawed sail too. lol
