Um...okay? :?
Well, I'm not sure if this is in the right forum but it has something to do with glitches. Anyway, a level 12 pirate was trying to do a wall glitch in the mines sometime in October 2010, but failed. I saw that pirate once again when a GM appeared on Tortuga as a random visit. Naturally, we greeted the GM but unfortunately the level 12 didn't have much smarts -- he deliberately asked the GM for help with the glitch. He disappeared about 10 seconds later. About 3 seconds before the GM asked, "What be a 'glitch', mate?" Now, it's not a big mystery about what happened to the pirate.

Wow, congratulations (to the lv12) on asking a GM how to do a glitch...

We should have a "Pirate Fails" sub-forum or thread. Hmm... Ah, gotta love the little knowledge of newcomers.

Have you ever read the word "glitch" in the English dictionary? It has existed before technology interaction came to be. How are they going to say what's a glitch when they were probably taught that word in an English class in high school or college? Logic fail. |

I actually think that, while it is a bit sad, it is somewhat funny that someone did ask a GM about a glitch. Likely the player didn't actually know what/who a GM was, so they didn't think it was bad or anything. Either way, note to self: Never ask a GM to be your glitching buddy! |
