With a monthly subscribtion, it used to allow players to cancel unlimited at any time, you would be basic access instantly, and would only be charged for the amount of days you played as unlimited.

But now, you can no longer do that. If you cancel unlimited before a month, the only thing you cancel is the recurring part of the payment, in other words, they won't send you the remaining money back, and you'll be unlimited until you finish the remaining month.

I'm somewhat disappointed at this, since I can no longer just pay for unlimited for a week or 2, then get basic again.

So for anybody out there who just like to pop in and play for a week or 2 as unlimited, you can no longer do that! You'll be forced to pay $10 and play the entire month.

Also, the phone number provided by POTCO from both mail and the site no longer works.

From Disney's point of view it's easier accounting. You are probably more likely to play the month out if you are paying for it. At least that is how they see it. Then you might decide to keep your membership as the game grows on you.
