That's been there for a while now, or so I think. I swear I've seen that already months ago, but maybe I'm just having a fake deja-vu moment.
Due to POTCO making it so you can't see other players on other ships, that part of the thing is rendered invalid. Sea monsters have never been in the actual game so far, so that Sea Monsters part is rendered invalid as well. It's too bad. Grapeshot now is actually pretty good compared to before. |

Grapeshot will get you more Rep when blasting away at ships as it does minimal damage ....then switch to round shot to finish the job.
Outside of that.....I really can't think of a current use for it. It was great in SVS when you could see the other players. Still need to file my comments to Disney on that one.

Yes, if a ship gets hit with Grape Shot the Repair Mini-game will shake making it difficult to repair, but not by much. (As well as if the Ship gets hit by Ramming Speed)
About the Sea Monsters, that has always been in the game. However there are no Sea Monsters, so I think its a little humor added to the description. Some people think it was a hint to the Kraken. It’s not. |
