Recent Connection Issues Resolved
Many Pirates have experienced connectivity issues over the past several days. As of Tuesday afternoon (PST), these issues have been fixed, and Pirates Online is once again available.
We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience, especially with so many Pirates anxious to sail into the new “Scoundrel of the Seas” content released Tuesday. To thank you for your patience over the past few days, we will be compensating all Unlimited Access players with a 3 day extension on their accounts. To clarify, these connectivity issues were in no way related to releasing “Scoundrel of the Seas”. Since Tuesday’s fix for the connection problem, Pirates have already been sailing in and enjoying all the new “Scoundrel” challenges at sea. At least they're acknowledging the issues. I can be fine with that.

I had problems in the timeframe they are speaking of but I'm still having them, only they're worse. I can't stay on for more than 10 minutes usually before the "unexpectedly broken internet connection" screen comes up. If it matters, I had the already online glitch where the game said my pirate was already online so I couldn't log in a few days ago.
