this question has been bugging me since i started being a member lets say i pay for the annual membership:
1. will POTCO remind me to pay for another year
2. if i dont pay what happens? i lose my ship and my stats??

They will send you an e-mail that they will be taking a certain amount of money from your credit card and also will say if you dont want to pay then you cancel the payment. But I would not buy the annual because the new stuff hasnt come out yet.

The only thing changes is your name turning Blue and you get all the Unlimited Access stuff.

No, you're character would still have everything that you had before you're payment ran out, but you wouldn't be allowed to use it until you payed again. I would say that boats are excluded from that if you already have them, but it wouldn't let you buy another. ^^

I got monthly because it really doesn't matter to me.... I just wanted to be a Founder and that was the only option at the time.
