Grapple
How do you board other ships. Do you have to be a ceertain level? One time i was on this big ship and it came up with 3 green rings on where to shoot

You can board ships at any level. Keep in mind that you can only board "flagships" -- ships that have a little flag icon above their name. As you said, instead of sinking the ship, the 3 green rings will appear on one side of the ship. When you see them, go to one of your cannons, and choose the Grapple hook instead of the regular cannonball. Then aim your cannon so the grapple hook shoots into one of the rings.

which one is the flag shippp. I went to one with a simbol aboth its name but it still didnt let me!1! I am on basic membership

The flagships all have a rectangular 'flag' above the masts to identify them from the other ships.
They are disabled the same way as sinking a normal ship, just do not use firebrand or they will sink. If you have disabled one, and have been given the green circles to grapple on to, then you have done it correctly. If you cannot board, I am unaware of any limitations to boarding a ship while on basic access. You may want to send in a bug report on that. Last edited by Requiem; 12-24-2007 at 01:19 AM..
