Blunderbuss got a reduction in power!
I popped in the game (finally working.. yay!) to see the QAR and the new bosses, and noticed my blunderbuss is doing a lot less damage.... I haven't logged in for a while now, so no changes were made, and I'm still using max Take Aim + max Bane shot.
Except my blunderbuss used to do 4k damage to lv 35 DH and 6k to lv 28 Dh Now I went to the lv 35 new bosses, and my buss was doing 2.1k damage, even tho I should be doing 4k...  Ps. Where is the QAR? Logged in twice today through browser and never got the tiny note saying where the QAR is or anything about the QAR (on test, if the QAR is sunk, players logging in still get a message about QAR) Last edited by ruisen2000; 05-19-2011 at 05:10 AM.. |

A reduction in power? Dang... that kinda stinks. I was really happy to have my Grand Blunderbuss being able to deal close to 8 or 9k damage to Darkhart at times. I'm a bit upset, if this is true, because this really just would just obsolete the blunderbuss, because my Corsair's Bayonet can deal about 2k if I do a full Take Aim and use a powerful ammo, and it reloads in less time. The Blunderbuss was nice because it could deal a whole load of damage, but was balanced with a longer reload time. If its dealing the same damage as other guns though, then its not as useful. I'm a bit upset to hear this... but I can live with it.

I was doing 4K damage to Tomas with my War Scatter gun today... There does not seem to be a reduction in power for me.

War Scatter hits 8k to DH, and 12K when crit.
lol, guess this will be the pistol age then, since pistol reload fastest, and hits hardest (6k), unless they made that weak too... |

There isnt really a reduction, its one of those enemies that your weapens arent as strong on.

I don't know... but sword definately isn't doing any less damage, lol. Randon person took half the LP from the boss in 1 bladestorm
Maybe they want us to play with swords more lol. I'll give DH a few hits when POTCO decides to fix the game and let me log in through my desktop launcher... |

Just realized that Blunderbuss' Take Aim time got reduced too, it's about half to origional time.
Still doesn't make it powerful like before, but I think this makes the weapon a lot more playable. Since it hits mutiple enemies at the same time, it shouldn't do more damage then weapons like pistols that only hit 1 enemy. And 1 hitting everything is not fun, so yay for POTCO staff this time!
