What happened to the at least 1 skull per ship on fleets? Now the STOL drops cargo crates! i thought these were treasure fleets!

That only happened once, as far as I can remember. Personally, I think Disney was being dramatic.
But I do hope they fix this in the future.

Perhaps they only drop one skull chest, as in only one ship will get a skull chest... this is why I don't do treasure fleets. Its a waste of time. You can get more gold simply by plundering some good ships in The Hinterseas, and better loot from most descent bosses. The only reason they are really worth it is for the challenge.

No, i did them one time with a couple of other ships and they dropped loot skulls like crazy. i got famed throwing knives.

Maybe they ran out of chests and decided to carry their stuff in a less suspicious container such as a crate.

I have been disenchanted with the 'treasure' fleets. It is for this reason I just don't do them anymore. What's the point? I can get more cash with a 10 minute trip around the shores of Padres and not scratch the paint on me ship.

The only time I go is when the guild gets together to do it as a challenge. Then it is fun - but it's about the team work - not about the monetary rewards. I think there should be great rewards for sinking those ships - every time.
