Sea battle pvp?

Its been mentioned before a couple of times. Grape shot even said it... but how can i join it? Thanks in advance.

At the current time there is not a PVP sea battle option. If you look in the players guide, all explanations of PVP locations are land places. If you look in the FAQs another person asked a question in which they said at that time PVP sea battles are the only place you can damage another player's ship.

Based on this, I would think that it was released in the beta phases, and has not been moved to the open servers yet.

You are correct also, there are 2 main issues I am having with making decisions. Both the Steel shot and the Grape shot seem to have some inconsistincy in their descriptions. Grape shot states PVP and sea creatures. Unless someone can tell me where to find sea creatures, I am forced to think this is hinting at coming features.

pvp sea battles aren't in the beta i don't think anyway might be a future plan, and someone else mentioned sea creatures in another thread something about the kraken after the sea timer runs out but i remember reading it was bugged so hopefully that gets fixed soon as well, i watched the game trailer and it shows the kraken so i hope it does get added or fixed.

In my experience, grape shot was not useful in beta so I opted out of it for live. However steel shot for the pistol is worth it as well as silver shot. Those are the only 2 ammo upgrades I have for the pistol.

My Beth Darkfury character gets shot at by large ships now and then but no damage. They mean to scare me and my Sloop out of their hunting grounds.

If you are hit by other player's cannons, it shows the damage animation (smoke, splinters, etc.) but no damage will register on your ship. Sometimes it is fun just to take some pot-shots at other ships...breaks up the questing and keeps them on their toes! LOL

I hope both those features are added, I'd love to challenge some peeps at sea battle PvP and shoot down some sea monsters! yar!

Yeah thats something they sure need to add, SvS (ship vs ship)! That should be so much fun!
And some seamonsters lurking around would make it more exciting aswel as harder
