We are a young guild looking for some good players to work with. We like to have fun but are sensible in our approach to piracy. We like to play and not have to deal with rude people.

We have a few rules in the guild and a few requirements for admission:

-Requirements-

1) Must be Open Chat in order to join.

2) Must be 13 years old or over.

3) Must define the word "Fey" in a way that is not copy-pasted from a dictionary. You may look up the word, but provide your own definition.

-Rules-

1) Please ask before teleporting to ANYBODY in the guild. This includes all officers, veterans and regular members alike. If a member of the guild is dying or has been knocked out you may teleport without permission. Otherwise please ask; sometimes people want to be able to level up or work on quests alone.

2) No foul language, obscene topics, or back-talking to superiors will be allowed. Please show your guild members the kind of respect you would have for your friends. We would ask that you not bring real life (especially relationship) drama into the guild, however if something truly upsetting like your grandmother dying occurs, feel free to talk to us about that.

3) Asking for help is alright, but only for quests and not for leveling unless it is leveling on a boss or in Tormenta. Screaming "help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" or any variant thereof will likely cause us to NOT want to help you. A simple "help!" will do. Be aware of crying wolf; if we get there and you are fine or minorly hurt on more than a few occasions then you should be able to handle the task yourself. Remember, you have potions. Use them.

We will help for half an hour for quests but after that amount of time we have no further obligation for that day. Remember that officers and veterans have quests and leveling up of their own as well.

4) Multiple characters in the guild will only be allowed for officers unless you tell us in advance who you are. This is to ensure that banned players do not return. If we find out that you are a different character in the guild and it has not been approved by the GM, your alternate character will be removed from the guild.

5) If you know you will be gone from the game an extended period of time please let us know. This is because we care about those we bring in and want to make sure you're still alright.

-Enforcement-

If a member of the guild breaks the rules, an official warning will be made. Three days of warning will be given if an offense has been made on the other days. If the rules are broken on three separate days of play, they will be removed from the guild without warning and not be allowed to return.

-Promotions-

1) Promotions are at GM and Co-GM discretion and begging will hurt your chances of being promoted.

2) Members will be promoted to Veteran if a) they have not broken the rules more than twice, b) they are at least level 15 and have been with the guild for a month.

This guideline will be in place after we have promoted at least one veteran.

3) Members will be promoted to Officer if they have not broken the rules more than once, have been with the guild at least a month and a half, and have completed the Black Pearl quest.

4) Both officers and veterans can and will be demoted a rank if disregard of the rules is seen.


Sorry if this seems like a lot of rules and enforcement of the rules. The fact is I've seen guilds where there may be rules but they are completely unenforced. I want this guild to be a haven for the more mature pirate who knows how to show respect.

You guys seem very organized! You should do fine! And about having too many rules? You're perfect mate. You have enough to keep order, but not so many that you are insanely strict. I like that. Good luck!

Maturity goes a long way in the decision, mate. But Open Chat is supposed to only be open to those who are 13+
