Open Fire Poisoning
Open Fire is supposed to only give you boosted damage for Cannons and Broadsides, right? Well, it does that, with an added effect...
This bug has been around for not sure how long, and it seems to only affect my lower level pirates. Anybody else have this issue? Last edited by CarribeanThunder; 06-17-2011 at 01:52 AM.. |

Oh, it poisons you.... ?!?!?!?!!? I honestly have no idea. |

You are not supposed to be poisoned when you use Open Fire...

It's not just lower level pirates, it happens to my level 50 all the time. And I also get the same glitch when drinking most potions.

That doesn't occur to my higher level pirates, or when I use potions, so I wouldn't know. And no, this is not done on purpose.

Aye. It happens occasionally on all my pirates. It happens with Open Fire, sometimes take cover, and almost all potions. It's kinda weird... but it doesn't bother me much, cuz it doesn't last too long, and it doesn't kill you lol.

This hasn't happened to me whenever I use Open Fire, and I am lower than you. I use O.F. alot.

The open fire poisoning happens if the captain has a venom strike weapon in their weapon belt. I tested this with my friend. My friend has the Assassin's Cutlass. Every time he would open fire , I got poisoned. We at first thought he had stinky breath but it is the venom strike weapon. I tried it myself with another venom strike weapon and we got poisoned.

Actually i know how to do this glitch. I can take it on and off. It is simple. I don't want to tell cuz then disney will delete it.
