I need help

I cannot see my friend we have been trying to find each other for days is it something as simple as were on a different server? Or is there something else that we need to do? We cant invite each other to anything because we cant find each other. Don't get me wrong were not stupid we have gone to places where we both are of course but wherever we try we can find each other can anyone help????

I'm assuming you don't have each other on your friends list because then it would be simple.
But fear not. If you can get a message to your friend outside of the game then tell them to meet you in the first world in a place that you both know how to find like Port Royal ship fixer, or anything that appeals to you.
Once you do meet up make sure you put in the friend request so you can easily find each other next time with the GoTo button.

we cant get each other on our friends list because we cant find each other we have tried to meet at the Faithful Bride because we had quests there, but whats the first world you're talking about man i feel like a total noob >< im used to WoW so i gess i am a noob at this

Does the fact that we are both on a the same account "family" have to do with it?

There's different oceans (servers) in this game. If you pull up your map (hit M), you'll see the ocean you're in at the top. Underneath that is a white cresent shape button. If you click on that, it'll bring up the list of oceans that are available. It'll also say if it's quiet or ideal.

That white crescent-shaped button hardly looks like a button at all. I"m sure there are lots of players who don't realize that you can click on it. When I was beta testing, it took me several days to figure that out! I think Disney shoul d either change the shape of the button, or make it "light up", or label it as "Change World" or something.

I agree with you Van - took me a while to realize you had to click that button that doesn't look like a button. Labelling it would make a lot more sense.
