strange memories
i never really got pirates back in 2008...
why did ships use to have navy guards next to the cannons? i remember i was using the cannon and i killed the person sailing the ship i also remember killing a navy dude using a cannon i ALSO remember killing everyone on a navy bulwark and sinking it with ease... (lol)  why dont you see people on other boats or enemy ships? i remember (again) i saw a person on a different ship say broadside port/starboard or whatever but now you cant see anyone? probably because of on videos people go on navy ships and drive away lol... ( by doing a glitch) also wasnt there more flagships before i was epic enough to attempt to fight them... i saw a video with a navy bulwark flagship werent there flagship phantoms and stuff? there was more flagships back then right? Yes, you were able to see enemies and other players on their ships back in the day. Very long ago though.
The bulwark flagship was even longer... I do remember boarding that one once before as a level 5 or something. As for Phantom Flagships... no idea, but that would be pretty cool... |

Hah i remember this it was fun, like killing navy soldiers from my ship with cannons they kept standing still haha

I remember it, i joined a month before they took it out. Wouldn't it be cool if you could see there gunners, captain, and you could board any ship. But with non flag ships if you borded them you get double the cargo. Flags should be twice as hard, and reward quadruple the loot.

Seaking, you have the new body types. All this stuff was deleted WAY before then.......... So it seems weird for you to "remember" this. The longest memory I have of PoTCO ( besides swimming out of Tortuga and not being able to go back in ) was when I was a level 8 or so and I befriended a level 32. We went on her ship and boarded a Bulwark. I had very bad lag and died on it. I went to jail and don't remember anything else. But yes I remember those things too. I really liked it when PoTCO had all those glitches. It was fun to steal a ship and drive away. Especially if that ship was EITC and people were attacking it :P . Also you could steal a pirates ship but they could take the wheel from you.

They have gotten rid of seeing the ene mies due to the amount of lag the servers get with potco getting more players we all want less lag so getting rid of seeing the enemies got rid of loads of lag. Disney told me it was a great thing while it lasted but its not returning.

I wish they would put the ability to see other players or enemies on other ships. That would really make SvSing EPIC. I mean, you could fire an explosive on the main deck, and then it explodes, dealing damage to the ship and killing half the crew. It would be pretty cool, aye? I don't know why they took it out. Maybe had to do with lag reasons, but I have no clue.

Oh yeah, I remember the enemies on the ships. Shoot out their captain, and the ship just moved in circles or whatever direction it was left in. Hehe....
I also remember that you could see allies on their ships as well. However, I don't recall when the whisper button was put into place, so I don't remember if it was possible to actually yell from one ship and hear it on the other. Brings up the time when one of my old friends was playing on a different pirate, rammed the back end of my frigate, and either yelled or whispered, "Hey Jack!" Shoot... reminds me of how long I've been around... |

Holes in the sails were deleted a while ago, again, before the new body types ( I think ). I remember when you could hear a person say something in Local Chat and hear them when they were close to you.
