Today in the Kingshead Keep area of Kingshead.....

I walked through the archway you see in the background..

But I could still walk around and fight..

That glitch has been open looks like they forgot to close it during updates.

Its been there ever since they opened the kingshead gates... someone outta report it... then again, its kinda fun fighting in the air.

That's been there for awhile, aye. I kinda like it except when I fall into the water below and can't get back up.
I know someone who has reported it in so it will probably be fixed in the near future.

I reported it after it happened. The email they sent me about it said they knew about and were working on fixing it.

I have been surprised that this issue has been in game for so long now after several major updates.

Obviously they have big plans for Kingshead (defined areas, new buildings, removal of the back dock, etc)

The only reason they would have added those two new buildings into Kingshead is for a future quest. Perhaps there will be a person in there to talk to. Either way, as EC said, there are big plans.

I've done this. Nice to sneak up on that Merc and get him. I feel like the guy from "Apocalypse Now".

That mercenary was standing there. He was challenging me in a way. Half of me was afraid to approach him, the other half wanted to chop his head off and play soccer with it. I was free to go, but didn't. I took another look at him. He wasn't a fearsome soldier, he was a sick poet. He wanted to die like a soldier, though. To die standing up instead of curled in a fetal position when a pack of mastered pirates gang up on him. I made my choice. Oh jeez, nevermind, there seems to be a napalm strike closing in.
