Startup is freezing?

PLZ PLZ HELP! i have been playing the game for a while now going on it regularly and have quite a lot of friends. But from yesterday it has started freezing where it has starts loading- the page after the ' prepare to set sail - . The load bar doesnt show and then it freezes. I have tried on Safari Firefox and Internet Explorer but its the same thing each time.
I have writtern to Disney about this but they have not replied. My internet connection is good and as I said this has never ever happened before in like the year I've been playing this game. It has never had lag before (cept ion invasions) and I have quite a lot of space left on my computer. Does anyone know or experienced this before? How did you resolve it? Please please any solution is welcom. I really love this game and so I really want to get back on it as soon as I can. Please Plese HELP!

try downloading the desktop version?

I never have those problems because I only play the desktop version. I dont like playing in web browser mode. Less problems if you just do desktop.

I agree with Davy, you should probably try the desktop version.

I use the desktop version then make it go in windowed mode - I do not like fullscreen.

Agreed with other posters. Use the desktop version, mate!
No problems and it's not a hassle to download.

And how do u download that?

Go to the pirates online site.
On left side you will see a list of tabs. Click on the Help tab.
There you will find the Download for PC and Download for Mac.
Just click on the one you need and then follow the directions from there.
